1. WHAT WE COLLECT

When an order is placed we store:

  • Recipient details: name, delivery address (US or UK), and optional gift message.
  • Your email address (and optionally your name), so we can email you the order confirmation and payment link.
  • For a UK order, optionally your mobile number instead of or alongside your email address, so we can text you the same link.
  • Order details: product, delivery date, order status.
  • Technical data: the IP address the order was placed from, the IP address you confirm a test order from, and the IP address a support ticket is filed from — used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
  • Support contact details (email or phone) if you file a support ticket.
  • Your email address if you ask, on our website, to be told about new products, payment methods and features — together with when you signed up and the IP address you signed up from. See Product updates.
  • If you create an optional account on our website: your email address, your name if given, a one-way hash of your password, and your login sessions. See Accounts.

The website also uses PostHog, a product-analytics service, to count page views and see which parts of the site get used. It records the pages visited, referrer, and coarse device and browser information, keyed to a cookie-based random identifier — not your name. Your payment and confirmation links are stripped out of everything sent to PostHog, and session recording is switched off on those pages. Analytics data is processed in the EU.

2. HOW WE USE IT

Order and recipient data is used solely to process and deliver the order and to provide support. The email address given with an order, and for a UK order your mobile number, are used only to send transactional messages about your own orders — never marketing — and are passed to AWS (Amazon Web Services), which delivers the email or text on our behalf. An address you gave separately on our website to hear about product updates is used only for those updates. See Email & opt-out, SMS & opt-out and Product updates below. Technical data is used to keep the service secure and within its rate limits. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

3. EMAIL & OPT-OUT

We email the address given as the payer of an order. Messages are transactional only — the confirmation or payment link for your own order, and a receipt once it completes. We never send marketing or promotional email to an address supplied as the payer of an order, and we never email an address that was not either supplied as the payer of a specific order or signed up for product updates (below). Message frequency depends on how many orders you are asked to pay for; at most two messages per order. Mail is sent from noreply@preznt.net and signed with DKIM.

To stop messages, email hello@preznt.net and we will suppress the address. An address that bounces, or from which our mail is reported as spam, is added to our sending suppression list automatically and is not emailed again. A suppressed address cannot be used to place further orders.

The consent record — the fact that an address was supplied as the payer of an order, and when — is used only to send you the messages described above. It is never sold, rented, licensed, or shared for anyone else's marketing, and it is not disclosed to any party other than the email provider that transmits the messages for us and, where required, law enforcement or regulators.

4. SMS & OPT-OUT

For a UK order, we text the mobile number given as the payer, if any. Messages are transactional only — the same confirmation or payment link the email carries. We never send marketing or promotional text, and we never text a number that was not supplied as the payer of a specific UK order. At most one text per order (the receipt is email-only). Texts are sent via AWS End User Messaging, from the sender ID PREZNT.

To stop texts, reply STOP to the message, or email hello@preznt.net. A number that opts out is blocked automatically and cannot be used to place further orders. Separately, if two texts are sent to a number and neither order is confirmed, we stop texting that number until one is.

The consent record — the fact that a number was supplied as the payer of an order, and when — is used only to send you the message described above. It is never sold, rented, licensed, or shared for anyone else's marketing, and it is not disclosed to any party other than the messaging provider that transmits the text for us and, where required, law enforcement or regulators.

5. PRODUCT UPDATES (OPT-IN)

The website asks, once, whether we may email you when we add products, payment methods or features. If you type your address into that prompt and submit it, we store the address, the time, and the IP address it came from, and we use it for exactly that: an occasional email when something ships. Nothing else — no third-party offers, and no message about orders, which only ever go to the address given with the order. This list is entirely separate from order data: placing an order never adds you to it, and an AI agent cannot add you to it on your behalf.

To leave the list, email hello@preznt.net from the address concerned, or use the unsubscribe link every update email will carry, and we delete the address. Dismissing the prompt stores nothing about you on our side; your browser remembers the dismissal for 30 days so it is not shown again.

6. ACCOUNTS (OPTIONAL)

You can create a Preznt account on our website. You never need one to send flowers — an order is placed by your agent and accepted by you through the link we email — and today an account does nothing beyond letting you log in; managing payment methods will be added to it soon. An AI agent cannot create an account or log into one on your behalf: the sign-up and login pages are the only way in.

If you sign up we store your email address, your name if you give one, a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself), the time and IP address you signed up from, and for each login a session record (when, from which IP address, and when it was last used). We email that address once to ask you to verify it, and again only if you ask for another link. An account is not linked to any order; the address you give with an order is used only for that order's messages.

To delete an account, email hello@preznt.net from its address and we remove it together with its sessions. Logging out deletes the session on our side; your browser keeps the login in local storage until then, or for 30 days at most.

7. SHARING

We share the categories of data below, and only for the purposes listed:

  • Recipient details (name, delivery address, gift message) — with the delivery partner that fulfills the order, once real fulfillment is active, and only as needed to deliver it.
  • Payment details — with Stripe, our payment processor. Card data goes directly to Stripe; we never see or store it.
  • Your email address and message content — with AWS (Amazon Web Services), which transmits the email on our behalf. This applies to order email and to product updates alike.
  • For a UK order, your mobile number and message content — with AWS, which transmits the text on our behalf.
  • Order, support, and technical data — with the infrastructure providers (hosting, database, rate limiting, analytics) that process it on our behalf.
  • Any data — where we are legally required to disclose it.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

8. RETENTION

Order records are kept as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. A product-update sign-up is kept until you leave the list. An account is kept until you ask us to delete it. You can request deletion of personal data by emailing us.

9. YOUR RIGHTS & CONTACT

To access, correct, or delete personal data, email hello@preznt.net or use the contact page. We may update this policy; the current version is always at preznt.net/privacy.
